Can adult leaders wear temp patches on Right pocket?

I am a wolf den leader, and was a cub scout when I was a boy. I still have some old patches that I never used.

 

Is it ok to put one on the right pocket of my adult uniform? (i.e. I was in a pack when cub scouts turned 50 yrs old, and I still have my 50th Aniv. patch.

It is a great way to show your history or current involvement in scouting.

 

It is great to meet a scouter and see that he went to the same summer camp you did, one that has been closed for 40 years.

The answer is yes you can wear temp. patches on your right side pocket. The right side pocket is the one that is to your right when your wearing the shirt.

I also have a 50th Aniv. patch but would never wear it because I don't want to mess up a great collectible.

As previously stated yes you can. I personally wouldn't wan tto wear that one as it is a collectible. OK maybe in a plastic badge holder for BnG.

 

I've found that wearing the old temp insig from your youth is a GREAT conversation starter with both youth and adults.
