In our area there are few backyards and certainly no one has swimming pools. Most scouts live in apartments in Elmhurst ,NY. All pools are closed now. In the best of times it is hard to find a pool where swim tests can be administered. Many boys have to be taught to swim before they can take a test. We use a college pool to teach but it is closed now because of Covid-19 with no opening date in sight. We still cannot camp overnight in N.Y.S.
