I like the way Mark explained his rating in his first reply. Some people only look at HOW MANY bad and good things there are in Scouting and never really think about how much each affects them. Sure, an unhappy parent or a scout that misbehaves can get you agitated for a while, but watching someone that YOU taught and YOU watched grow up makes you forget ALL about that feeling. I was lucky. I was 5 when my brother started Boy Scouts so I got to watch him get his merit badges and earn his ranks. I saw what it was like behind the scenes too since our parents were the Scout leaders. Then,

Has anyone heard of a camp that is mainly for Venture Crews? If Venture Crew is part of the Boy Scouts of America, why doesn't it have its own summer camps? Boy Scouts do, so why shouldn't we? I understand the male/female problem there, but I am sure that with a bit of thinking from the camp directors and the crew leaders, there would not be a problem.
