Is there a limit to the number and or age for ribbons on the troop flag? when I took over as SM the flag was already well supplied with ribbons and I just added the new ones as we received them. We now have a new charter rep. who sees them as tacky. so what is the view from the scouting world? I need some differing angles of perspective.
Ok I know i'm in the right place. we have star wars, star trek, SiFi cons, Dr Who! so is there any SCA involvement here as well?
sorry about the last post I hit the back arrow before I knew what it would do. That's just the Neoluddite in me.
We have the same problem on this side of the continent but it's CA moving to north ID. You should see the fur fly when a tree-hugger tells a logger he can't make a living and feed his family!
Hello I have been a scouter for many years been through wood badge (hooray Antelopes!!!) I am also a neoluddite and not very computer savvy. my round table commissioner told me about this site and here I am. I am the scout master for a small troop in northern Idaho. approximately eight boys if they all show up at the same time. this has been a big challenge for inter patrol activity. this is nice to find this forum for advice and guidance. I wish I had known about it sooner.
