    PWD Date?

Hey ACDEAVER, Pack 250 in SC and my Pack 28 in MS are getting all set to web broadcast & chat for the Pinewood. Can you come out & play? Set up an account on Yahoo Messenger (ours is cubscoutpack28) and join in. If you need more details, send me an email at rpcsluke@megagate.com

I just found out that we should be able to accomplish(?) this feat. Am going to try to recruit the High School IT department/Club for assistance... Send me and my Techie Den Leader an email so we can get further details... rpcsluke@megate.com mrhbaker@yahoo.com Luke "Skywalker" Scouting Jedi
  3. I am not sure to the origins, but I do know that originally STAR was senior to LIFE. I believe it changed in the 40's???
  4. We push using the colors in our Pack. The hat is too easily lost. I have never known a specific order for the pins but it sure was a lot easier when I was a WEBELO - only had 15 activities so it was easy math... Luke Cubmaster Pack 28 Poplarville, MS
  5. Has anyone seen or heard about designer checks that have scout images? For some reason I think I have seen this before but cannot remember where/when... Thanks
  6. P Swigs is correct. It does not have to be extravagent jus t special in meaning to the boys. I have heard of some packs having outdoor ceremonies with actual bridges. The CM escorts the boys one at a time to the middle of the bridge where the receiving SM is waiting. We made an indoor monkey bridge out of landscape timbers. I see you are up in Petal. Our Pack is in Poplarville MS. If you are going to Univ of Scouting on the coast next month, look me up & we'll talk.

Interesting Idea... We are also hosting our Pinewood on the 26th here in Poplarville, MS. I will check with my ACM ( thank goodness he's an engineer!!)and maybe we can hook up. Also, never heard of tin can method for bracketing, my engineer has rigged up our track to his computer and his EXCEL spreadsheet cycles the boys through the 3 diff lanes - it even converts it to MPH & displays on tv screen. I do know we have to use 1-2 dummy cars to load balance the lanes at times ( keep them at 3oz or less to ensure they do not win...) good Luck
