    Using older Scout literature in your program

    Hello,

     

    I love old Scout literature.

    I have a big collection at home and in our local Scout Archive (there we have American,Austrian, French, German Swiss and Yugoslavian Scouting Literature)

    I espaicially like the Scout Fileld book and the Handbook for Patrol Leaders from the BSA from 1944 and the 1930ties.

    Boy Scout Handbook from the 40ties

     

    Handbook for Patrol Leaders and Scoutmaster's Handbook from the 30ties

    Handbook for Canada 1930

    I was 19, when I started as an ACM.

    I served 3 years in this position.

    At the same time I was still active in our Rover Crew.

    In the Rover Crew I was a youth and when I was involved with my Cubs I was an adult.

    For the cubs it was no problem, for a ten year old you are old when you are older than 12.

     

    Since 2005 I serve as an ASM.
