  1. I definitely recommend Treasure Island. Its an amazing camp with tons of history and tradition as the oldest camp in the US and the birthplace of the Order of the Arrow. They have recently revitalized the camp after nearly having it closed due to severe flooding 2 years in a row. Everything is close together, the program is well run, the staff is amazing, and hey...YOU'RE ON AN ISLAND! They also offer free tubing trips down the river which is very unique among scout camps.   2. I stumbled across this site and found some valuable information on it so I decided why not join and try to contribute? I'm a young assistant scoutmaster from the great city of Philadelphia (Cradle of Liberty Council). Scouting has been such a big part of my life growing up and I've recently (in the past 2 years) have been doing everything I can to make it an even bigger part of my adult life.
