Undaunted Courage will find its way into my foot locker again this year. Outdoors, diversity, adversity, friendship, and leadership . . . kinda reminds me of another organization I love.

The DRP poses an interesting problem in my mind. If you will excuse the overstatement, we don't expect every member of a NSP to be expert backpackers, paramedics, small unit leaders, etc., so why do we expect them to come to us already ordained? From the Christian point of view, isn't the BSA excluding many of the boys who most need the guidance that Scouting has to offer?

I suggested that my Webelos den plan on a khaki shirt for their second year (they really wanted them right away) unless they grew out of their blue shirt before then. I can live with being non-uniform while in uniform for a little while if only for the sake of the parents - myself included.

Hello all. I'm new to the forums, but not really new to Scouting. I've got two boys in Cubs, one a Tiger, the other finishing 1st year Webelos and I've been a Den Leader since my oldest was a Tiger. Before that I was an ASM for the Boy Scout Troop. I've admired the wisdom posted on these forums for a while, and will likely need to call on plenty of it when I become Cubmaster in the Fall. I figure I'll be doing double duty when I have one in Cubs and one in Scouts. Do they make purple shoulder loops for that or do I wear one red and one blue? J/k of course, but I look forward
