I would have left the troop. It seems ridiculous that the council wouldn't have done anything.

i started from the begining. all the way through eagle. my father got as far as life but never got eagle because he felt that serving his country in vietnam was more important than being an eagle scout. he served 3 tours, became 1st lt. and as family tradition says " every male in the family shall serve at least 1 tour in any service" so i joined the united states marine corps. i leave for boot camp on november 8th. i am proud of my father and he is twice as proud of me.

i too know what it is like to lose a fellow scout and friend. it hurts like there is no tommarrow. i miss him so much and when we went to philmont scout ranch and we hiked up mount phillips and we felt that it would be fitting to make a small mounument to his memory. (he had been there at the exact spot 1 year before). if you were there after 7/23/03, you may have seen it. i could never fell sad about his passing before building it but then i cryed finally. thank you for listening to me

hello, i was just wondering if anyone knows where or how i would replace a lost eagle scout medal. i had lost mine about 5 years ago, so i have just got around to getting another to replace it. thank you
