ElyriaLeader 11
Lisabob, check with the local flight schools, I'm pretty sure Duncan aviation has flight training at either Battle Creek or Kalamazoo, they might be able to do the simulator route with that many scouts. cheffy 10
Lisabob, If you are going down to Wright-Patterson, check with Bowling Green University. They have a flight school. Also there is a glider Club near Gregory Mi. that offers weekend events. If you take to the guys they will usually even let you camp on site. If not Camp Munhucke is just down the road. Lisabob 13
Thanks folks, we have a location picked out and are coordinating with a well-regarded flight school that works with the local council for other activities. They'll do a "mini ground school" with our guys and weather permitting, will do some flying too. All that remains is to figure out some final logistics and hope for good weather!
