troop_358_potlatch 10 Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 One of the fund raisers that our troop does in the summer is sell sno cones at our local community day. After the parade at which the boys and a couple of adults carry the US and troop flags, we go to the park and sell sno cones. They also had a dunk tank where some of the troop leaders and a couple of teachers from the high school got dunked in the water. The boys did their part in the dunk tank area by handing out the baseballs and chasing after them when those people that cannot throw missed the target.These 2 fundraisers brought in over $1000 which isn't bad for a community of about 1000.
