Dwindling scouts may have to sell a camp

"I didn't mean to suggest that "National" should change the program but should have said "give us ideas to improve the delivery of the program".

We have Troops in our council that do a really good job presenting the Scouting program and they are booming, but are few and far between."

I didn't realize that is what National was supposed to do.

Given the above, I can probably guess who is attending Roundtables, and who isn't. Sounds to me like you have real problems at the District level, which must be fixed locally. National can't come in and suddenly make Scouters go to training or attend Roundtable or attend Scouters Academy.

I we (my family) owned three vacation properties, and ran into some financial difficulties, what would we do? If we had only visited one of those properties a few times, it would be the first to go. Sure, not a direct comparison, but pretty close.
