  1. thank you for the welcome and advice. I ended up not using any machines. A 9 by 13 plastic with cool water and Downie soap and thirty minutes and gentle work. Then rinse and again cool water, vinyl gloves, a little bleach and gently work again, wait thirty minutes and work again, rinse well and hang over a plastic hanger to drip dry. It looks great. Let the other one like it was and there is quite a difference. Once again, I have a "work" sash and a a "show" sash.
  2. How can I get my 60 plus year old sash white again? Which of the above solutions is best?
