Whew, I finally got to ready your message. The Best practices info on wikipedia is helpful though I wish they would post an example spreadsheet that people are using to track events that can be used as a backup in case of treasurer meltdown:)

Fred, I realize your post is several years old. But I'd love to see the specific event spreadsheets that you're using to track each event.
