  1. TheLuckyCricket: Training and great activities are the key to a successful program. As stated earlier, we'll be hosting Powder Horn at Camp La-No-Che in Paisley, FL in August (registration is still open - follow link below for form). It is a great opportunity for training, getting lots of ideas, and for networking with counselors that will make your program a success and will have access to the required resources. We also have additional training opportunities that are coming up in the near future that are listed at http://training.cfcbsa.org/vent_bulletin_board.html I'll be glad to
  2. Absolutely. I strongly recommend it. It is two long weekends of fun packed activities. There are programs literally from A-Z. No-where else you'll find such a talented, qualified and dedicated program staff. Each one becomes a resource for you. For a course near you go to: http://www.powderhorn-bsa.org
  3. If you want to make sure that there is an official record of your Wood Badge achievement at the National (USA) BSA level, you may want to order the Wood Badge pocket card for $10 from National BSA. The order form is at the following link: http://www.scouting.org/forms/34169/65.pdf
  4. Closed due to multiple posts of the same thing. (This message has been edited by a staff member.)
  5. Do you need new high adventure events in your unit's program? Come to Central Florida's Powder Horn 2004 and you'll experience over 24 action-packed activities that you can then lead in your unit. You'll learn how to plan them and how/where to get the resources you'll need. The Powder Horn registration form is at http://training.cfcbsa.org/forms/powderhorn04.pdf If you need the pre-requisite training, come for the half-day training session on August 14 at Tuscawilla Presbyterian Church. The registration form (program is free) is at http://training.cfcbsa.org/forms/2004/v
