i've seen people do that too, but i always make sure to remind them that there OA sash should always be worn with the arrow pointing to the right shoulder and that any other way would be incorrect. generally their just misinformed youngsters...everyone has to learn from mistakes.

The troop that I'm in has several differant "odd" patrol names, some being things that you could not necisarily substitute with the "official" BSA patrol patches.
