Try not to be too hard on the Girl Scouts. I too was put off by the "I'll try..." mentality of the Girl Scout program, but it's actually a pretty strong program that provides alot for girls. My wife has been a Girl Scout leader for four years now, along with my daughter, and the girls have learned so much. It's really a great program. I encourage you to look at GS in a bit more detail to see what they really do.
