I would say, that Scouters should be allowed smoke at scout events...Although, it should be done 'out of sight'. Not in their face.

I don't think PETA should get involved. It's more a parenting issue. The badges only teach scouts how to do it properly and not for 'violence'. Martha, your oviously not from the US. OGE says your from 'Down Under??' I met some Australian scouts 'on tour' in the US. They were a great bunch. Lovely uniforms.

Wow... Grey Eagle, I like it! Yeah.. I think a troop song sung/yell/chant at the start of all meetings works a treat. The same thing each time. Each patrol can also make a flag, these flags get presented to the Patrol LEaders who follow and follow. We have some flags been passed down through 6 generations. They stay with the PL who brings them on camp.
