Tonight my son Stephen passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review. His mother and I are very proud of him and all the effort that went into his achievement.

Hi EagleinKy! Thanks for the welcome. I am currently living in Fishers, Indiana, which is a suburb just northeast of Indy. I grew up actually south of you while still in Indiana in a small town called Newburgh, which is a suburb of Evansville. I have always enjoyed visiting Louisville and find it to be a friendly community with a lot of interesting attractions.

Thank you, Fred and James. I am probably more nervous about my son's Board of Review than he is. It's funny--he asked me about my Board of Review and I remember absolutely nothing about it (it was 32 years ago!!)!

Hello all, I have "lurked" for awhile, but I am a first-time poster. I am an Assistant Scoutmaster from Central Indiana. I received my Eagle Scout rank in Newburgh, Indiana in 1973 and am a Brotherhood member of OA. I have one son who is scheduled for his Eagle Board of Review Thursday August 18, and I am excited about that. This forum is wonderful, and I have already gleaned a good bit of knowledge from the varied experience of regular posters. I am glad to be here!!!
