I have 1 son in the boy scout troop and 1 in webelos There is also another dad that is in the same boat. Both of us are on the committe and are copied on all bs to cs emails. The email states to ask your scouts. It is not a raft trip it is a intertube float trip planned for the webelos in our area by our troop.

as far as training goes our troop requires everyone that attends any trip to have proof of all online training and leaders be first aid and cpr trained. Committe members indoor and outdoor trained. As far as the camping trip goes invites have been made to camp at local council scout camp and it was not passed on.

den leader is the cc and at cub scouts and his sons scout troop where our cubmaster is charter rep. The camping trip is at a va state park and doing a tubing float along the river. Myself and the other parent that knows about this are confronting him next meeting about this as well as being adressed at roundtable on both sides cs(which he runs) and bs side. Last I heard it is about the scouts, not leaders. Personally I dont care what troop invites as long as the scouts go and see what its about, then they make a choice not the adult. As far as leadership goes its run like a dictatorship.He Doesn't want anyone to know whats going on until we get there. Myself and the other dads usually get everything started(Flag ceremony scout laws and so on) so we can have a full hour meeting due to him showing up 20 minutes late most of the time. As far as camping goes I have asked for Phone numbers and emails so we can go out this summer and was told I dont need them because he doesn't want any recruiting going on. Our webelos den leader has had an invite from a area troop to go on a trip over the summer. The leader responded in less than 20 minutes without asking any of the den. Do you think this is fair to the scouts considering they will be webelos 2 at the end of school. They have not been on the first camping trip this year because the leader doesn't camp.( By the way this leader has 2 council positions as well as cc for another bs troop.

The old cc moved to another state back in december as far as charter org. goes I dont really think they care if they have cub scouts or not considering they told us we could use the fellowship hall for graduation, we got there to set up and there was a wedding rehearsal dinner.

The cc paper work was just turned in in the begining of june according to our roster. The old cc was still listed until that point. The paper work was misplaced along with the check since 1-10-08 deposited 6-2 -08 It was written out of my account from my wife. So council told us she was not cc and had no say in any matters.

I had two boys, myself as dl and wife as cc. I found out the tigers were picking up trash along a 45 mph road at dusk with no reflective vest Nor were Parents aware of this. Even prisoners are required by state lawto wear reflective clothing. I've been having problems in the pack as all the other leaders kinda outcast us because my boys go to a different school. I tried calling local council several times, and am told they will call me back.To this day i have not received a call back. The Problem is we have 14 boys no leaders meetings. Iam bear/asst.cm and every time i bring something up it seams like it goes in one ear and out the other from the cubmaster and other leaders. My wife is resigning from cc due to all the back stabbing from treasure and tiger leader. I am currently looking for a new pack. Half of the activities that were scheduled have been canceled due to leaders kids baseball games. I feel the kids are really being cheated in more ways than one

Anyone had to deal with awards being given that have not been earned. I have 4 scouts one being my son getting Leave No Trace, but I Know he has not completed requirments, Two others only show up at meetings not saturday outings.

NoI have stopped the tigers from getting the award because my son had told me he was getting it at the next pack meeting when he has not completed the achievements for the award. The tiger leader confirmed he was receiving it. The asst. leadr is his wife. The ceremony we are doing is for Blue And Gold, cub scout prayer.

The awards haven,t been given yet because the bears are working towards the same award(leave no trace). The wifes role is asst tiger leader. Husband is dl but if you ask me it seems that he lives in her shadow because he wont step up unless told to.

I agree but i really dont want my kids around them at this point after I stopped a badge from being given out without being earned. I f he can't earn it I personally don;t think they deserve them wheen all the other boys have been busting thier butts.

Thats easy to say but me in the cm had discussed a ceremony for b&g we shared this with all den leaders and i received an email today from the tiger den leader that her husband was going to lead this ceremony. excuse my language but im p.oed beyond belief. My wife is ressigning from committe chair.

I am a bear den leader. Our cubmaster's wife is dying of cancer. I have a tiger den leader and a treasure that is pushing our commite chair( my wife ) out and trying to push me out as well. I have talked to the cubmaster about taking asst. cubmaster position as of next year. But I'm at the point iI don't want my kids a bear and tiger around this person or the problem. I would hate to do this to the bears as I am the second leader the've had this year. I was tiger Until January when the old leader was transfered out of state. Any advice is greatly needed.
