We require the Class A (Shirt,& Neckerchief) for all Board of Review and Courts of Honor. We also recommend adding the official pants for even more formal events ie. Eagle Courts and Religious functions. However we also have a "Class B" Troop Tee Shirt that we use at Summer Camps and summer meetings. Cost is probably the bigest reason parents have chosen this route. When we have done a Philmont Trip, we have required: Hat, Neckerchief, Shirt, Shorts and Knee Socks to be worn in public as well as a Red Nylon Windbreaker.
