Hello, all!
My name is Derek Furstenwerth, and I am an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 388 in Pasadena, TX. I have one son who's 15 years old in the troop. My wife, son, and I all participate extensively in troop activities. We have an active troop that has monthly campouts and also offers 4 high adventure campouts a year for the older boys. We went to Philmont last summer for the first time since I've been in the troop (5 years). Troop 388 has been in existence since 1961.
I look forward to sharing information with and learning from all of you.
