  1. WOW!!! Talk about a thread hijack!! From talking about Eagle Boards of Review to musicals Thanks for all of the responses. Macy
  2. WOW! Look at all of the responses. I didn't think that it was that much of a hot button, but I'm happy that some 9including me and my son) got some help from it. Now, when my son gets asked by his fellow scouts about his Eagle board of review, he will be able to guide them even more. Thanks again.
  3. I'm sorry if my statement about you "scout types" bothered you. That was not my intent. I just didn't like almost being accused of not posting a truthful post by one person. Sorry Thank you to all. I think I understand now (I just hope that I'm not in trouble with my son for posting this on a publicboard, but I had questions and have been told that this is one of the best places to get your scouting questions answered. That's why it upset me by seeing that some didn't think my questions were real. I will use this information to help my son, so he will be able to help out his fel
  4. Thank you. Yes, I am the parent of a Eagle scout candidate. He was not turned down, but I found it hard to understand why they would ask. Now I understand. 6. What do you think of a Eagle board of review that dares to ask the scout if he believes in a god? Isn't that a violation of separation of church and state? Are they allowed to ask such questions? I can understand questions about scouting stuff, but about a belief in a god is going a bit far, don't you think? Macy(This message has been edited by MacyM)
