I would rater not put my scout shop or location. The reason taht i posted it to different forums is because there was more than one already started.

but you will still be able to wear the "old uniform" the great thing with BSA is that as long as the uniform was approved at one time it will always be "official"

there is another forum post that will answer your question. And yes national is coming out will a new head to toe uniform. It will be a new hat, shirt, pants, belt, socks, epilets, etc. It will come out August 1 2008

at least with BSA the old uniform will always be able to be worn.

The switchback 2 for 1 sale is to get rid of the switchbacks. National TODAY sent out a email to all the scout shops. National is going to be issuing a new uniform. Top to bottom. Yes that means a new hat, shirt, pants, patches, socks, etc. They will be coming out on August 1 2008. They look pretty cool and i am looking forward to the new look. :-)
