Train Departs Gettysburg at 8AM for Hunters Run, an old Reading Railroad station point, now located on the famous Appalachian Trail (AT Trail)! In fact, part of the AT Trail is actually the former railroad roadbed. Coordinated with the National Park Service, this event will feature a scenic train ride to Hunters Run where hikers will depart the train for an 11-mile hike to the Pine Furnace State Park and return.
