Leadership Book

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know about an awesome book I just found. It's called "Lead Like Jesus", by Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges. I find it's especially great for leadership classes within a church....

 

One of our worlds great problems is ego-centric, self-serving leadership leaders who think people exist for their benefit, instead of vice versa. In stark contrast, Jesus modeled servant leadership, leading by example. He said, I came to serve not to be served. Now, two thousand years later, Jesus has over 2.1 billion followers, which makes Him the undisputed greatest leader of all time. No one else comes close! This is why you need to know how to lead like Jesus. He is the only flawless example. Thats why you should read this book!

I managed to buy a lot of these on E-bay and gave each member of the Wood Badge staff a copy of this along with the One Minute Manager.

I seen it as a book on leadership more than any sort of religious text.

Thanks for the tip on what sounds like an excellent resource for any leader. It looks like something even non-Christians would be willing to read. I'm going to check to see if our church library has a copy yet.
