I did the Whittlin' Chip class in two parts, one on the 3rd, and one on this past Monday, since we're camping this weekend, and I wanted them to be able to take their knives on the camp out. May I just say that they were SUPER attentive, and knew the answers every time, and passed their quizzes, and did the practice handling/passing/closing, etc.. PERFECTLY? Then this past Monday, they all had their new knives, and they carved their (what else?) BEARS out of Ivory soap. They were SO proud! And they were so cute! (But I didn't tell them that!)
