Thanks for the suggestions, and yes I am with a non weight bearing leg, but the stitches are out so i might go. If not, i might go for provisional if they let me, because the camp we go to is out of district because our district camp is a long ways away from where we live

Thanks to me being a boy and being stupid sometimes, ive managed to break my leg right before summer. And since my troop goes to scout camp the first week, i cant go. I hope that i will be able to go to scout camp next year to make up for lost time. This would have been the first time ive been camping since my fathers passing. god help me when i return. My dad was the one that helped me through the first year

Hey guys. Like my previous post,I am going on a winter camp out. I was wondering how to build a snow cave, Any suggestions would be great

Thanks guy. I am going to be camping in the adk's(where I live) And it snows in July here so you can imagine what its like now. We are going to snowshoe/ski for about an hour or less and then when we get to the hunting camp we'll set stuff up and relax, maybe try to build a snow cave. It really is just to have fun and relax. No major plans are made so it'll be just a nice hike, and a nice day to ourselves pretty much.

Thanks for the tip guys and I forgot to mention we are hiking to the camp but we are going to be in a lodge so i dont think we will need a -10 degree sleeping bag.

I am a First class scout(almost star), and I have a few words to share. My Father has just recently passed awy and I was devistated. But I keptgoing on to receive my persanol management merit badge and am now working on family lif., a hard one after what has just happened. I just wanted to say, even if something as terrible as death occurs, don't let it slow you down. Infact, you should keep moving faster and make your family more proud of you./ Ihope this helps some oher scouts out there.

Hey, me and my troop are goin on a canoe trip this weekend and we are goin to a lean-to that one of our guys built for a eagle project. I will wright back when I get back and tell you of our great trip.

i for one dissagree just for the fact that there is the boy scouts of china and other foreign countrys as an example the scout camp my troop goes to has a sign with all the troops that have come and gone and one was from japan so even thogh they are foreign and not american they are still our brother
