    Thank you all for the replies. I reached out to the family and they thought it a nice gesture for the boys to wear their uniforms in support of their friend and fellow Scout.

    We recently had several new AoL Scouts bridge over to our Troop. Since then, one of these Scouts lost his mother. Would it be appropriate for the Scouts to wear their uniform to the reception and visitation?
