Good replies and I will check out the sources indicated but I really want to go the wood route.

I'm looking to make some name badges for our troop. I see lots and lots of small wooden ones - Woodbadge name tags, Golden Acorn name tags, etc. Question is: Is everyone simply cutting these out from larger sheets of say 1/8" plywood (or thinner) or is there a good supply for these already cut and ready to assemble?

Yes, the activity approach is more like what we are thinking about. Beads for attending campouts, summer camp, participating in fund raiser activities, those types of things.

I am looking for information to the following questions: 1. What type of program does your group use? 2. Where to you purchase supplies? 3. Can you describe your program - namely for what activities you you make awards? 4. Do you have a "patrol" level recognition/incentive program that supplements your individual scout incentive program?
