We're going to Colorado this summer, for the 2nd year in a row, to get our guys the whitewater merit badge. We use Lost Paddle Rafting, and they are great! Their guide that does the whitewater training is an Eagle Scout who can sign off blue cards. They conduct the training on a class II and III section of river called "Bighorn Sheep Canyon", in inflatable kayaks called duckies. The kids had a blast with it last season. I recommend this outfitter to anyone looking to get the whitewater merit badge, or just looking for an absolutely great time! You'll want to talk to Jim, the Operations Director.
