Skymont is an excellent camp. I took 51 boys last year from Jacksonville, FL. The staff was very accomodating to our every need. They require Bluecards in advance but will set up additional merit badge classes as Troops need them (kind of an open enrollment). They cover the entire range of experience, from first-year scouts to even our fourth and fifth-year scouts. They have an excellent COPE plus 55' climbing tower plus zip line that is available to anyone who goes through the training. They have something called Cumberland Adventures off-site for the older boys where they can put COPE skills to use. Thursday included a 180' cliff rapel. Adults received leadership training at the waterfront, certification at the climbing tower and participated with Cumberland Adventures. We're going back this year!
