This is my first post here. I have read a few topics and found that the Scouters here are very helpful. I hope I can be the same.

I have been the Cubmaster of our local Pack for 10 years (not consecutive.)I should retire from that, but enjoy it too much. I have been a den leader for all the ranks, but mostly Wolves and Bears.I am also CS Roundtable Commissioner for our District. I was the Program Director for Day Camp for 10 years. I also volunteer at our satellite Scout store/office, where I do everything from selling merit badges to approving tour permits. I am also a MB Counselor. Both my sons are Eagle Scouts.

Hi NJEaglemom,

Welcome, and thank you for volunteering to help our boys. In my opinion, there is no greater good you can be doing at this time in their young lives.

Let us know if you need any help or advice. We are full of it!

Alas, no. I've never seen one done in a Dutch oven.Around here, they have to be deep fried to be authentic. Have you tried putting your pizza filling into an eggy dough (like crescent rolls) and putting them in a dutch oven? Prepackaged pizza dough might work.

Hello South Jersey!

I'm a former PA person who always went "down the shore" for summer vacations (many summers spent in Sea Isle City). Now I'm active in Scouting in Connecticut and am trying to get the ball rolling on a Cycling/Camping trip to NJ next March - any suggestions for safe trails and scout camps are appreciated!
