jonathanrbaker 10
Laudable idea. Looks like a Girl Scout award, though...
Cambridgeskip 658
I think that's a little dismissive of you Jonathan. BP himself was passionate about world peace and his words following the First World War are incredibly inspiring. This scheme comes from WOSM http://www.scout.org/information_events/events/joti/2011/theme_1/mensajeros_de_la_paz Personally I would like to see far more of this sort of thing. jonathanrbaker 10
I was talking about the actual patch design, not the spirit of the award.
Eagle92 110
JB, The MoP logo is an international one, and one that has its origins in the 2007 WSJ, if not earlier.
Cambridgeskip 658
Jonathan, my apologies for misunderstanding! My troop have been developing links with the Anne Frank Trust here in the UK to act as peer educators and we are going to try and tie that project in with this.
jonathanrbaker 10
No problem! I should have been clearer in my remarks.
SSScout 1524
Start with this..... Then go back to the OP link.
Callooh! Callay!1428010939 28
It's a Saudi Arabian initiative. All sounds nice - as do numerous other such propaganda initiatives that come out of the KSA. http://www.saudigazette.com.sa/index.cfm?method=home.regcon&contentid=20110928109610 We don't need it. It's redundant in light of the Scout Oath and Law. We can do the same good without it. Anyway, wearing a patch to announce one's self as a Messenger of Peace seems a little exhibitionist.
