packsaddle 753 Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 On this day, surrounded by plenty; family, friends, food, a fire in the fireplace, I also am thankful for the outstanding scouts and students I know and have known. Once in a while I get a nice note or message from one who remembers..but the only thing I need to feel good is to know they are well, doing well, and also are surrounded by family, friends, food...and sure, a fire in the fireplace if they want. BrentAllen 10 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 I watched The Diary of Anne Frank on cable Monday night with my son. I read the book years ago in school. Understanding what they went through - over 2 years in that loft, worrying about getting caught, to finally be discovered after the invasion had started - that will make you thankful for the ability to just go outside for a walk.
