SctDad 10
Well last week we went to the District awards banquet. They were giving out leadership awards and I was awarded Cubmaster of the year. Surprised that I was even nominated, considering some of the other Cubmasters that were out there. I was surprised. Not to mention that a lot of the other leaders in the district congradulated me and told me that they had been hearing a lot of good things about how Cub Scouting in our County is growing and getting more active due to our pack. I guess some hard work does get recognized. Now here's to making sure that there is another great year to have.
Gunny2862 11
Congratulations! Look,IMHO, the surprise award is often the best signal that you got it for why it was designed. And it's great that you weren't expecting it, it signals that you weren't angling for it, and that you'll continue the high level of performance because you weren't just putting the effort out to get the award. Kudo's to you! Thanks for your Service to Scouting!
DanKroh 11
Congrats! That's really wonderful. I bet your pack is just bursting with pride (as they should be!)
