acco40 95 Posted November 11, 2004 Share Posted November 11, 2004 Fellow Michigander, After many years of research on this forum, rules become guidelines when the person involved doesn't like the rule! With respect to the Guide to Safe Scouting (many times shown as G2SS here) there is a part that states: BSA Rules and Policies Bold type throughout the Guide to Safe Scouting denotes BSA rules and policies. The discussions therein are not guidelines, not suggestions, not helpful tips. They are RULES. I make no distinction between bold and not bold. It confuses the issue.
