RememberSchiff 3663 Posted October 18, 2022 Share Posted October 18, 2022 Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott donated $84.5 million to Girl Scouts of the USA and 29 of its local branches, the 110-year-old organization said Tuesday, calling it a vote of confidence. It's the largest donation the GSUSA has received from an individual since their founding in 1912, said Sofia Chang, CEO of GSUSA. Previously Ms. Scott made a $50 million gift to the National 4-H Council, which was among $3.86 billion in donations Scott made to 465 groups during a nine-month period.
