Is It Time for the BSA to Change Its Leadership Model?

Back to OP, Is it time for the BSA to change its top leadership model?  @gpurlee

A good question... HOW will the BSA best decide WHO will next lead the BSA?

IMHO regarding this topic, the BSA Bylaws appear little changed in the reorganization plan presently under judicial review.

I moved STEM posts to a recent STEM topic.

Many of the items you mentioned being broken are not high dollar items and there is no reason for disrepair.

I missed your comment.

And you are right, the program materials to put on the program are of minuscule cost.

Our council camp provides a huge percentage of the council's revenue.

And yet minor costs are not addressed, and program suffers, and scouts (customers) are disappointed.

Amen. When I was on staff, $50 to each area of camp would make things amazing! With my daughter on staff this summer, I can't wait hear what tiny things are needed and making dreams happen!

I just never never understand this. Bleeding the camp of funds. Every dollar that camp generates should go to pay for camp - rangers, etc.
