T2Eagle 902 Posted February 21, 2020 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Our troop wants to head towards Pictured Rocks in the UP of Michigan this summer, and we're looking for camping, and other activity suggestions while there. We're driving up from Ohio, and we'd especially like to find someplace in the upper part of the lower peninsula where we could lay our heads just for a quick night, even something like a church basement would work just so we could leave home in late afternoon and not try to drive it all in one shot . Troop185 44 Posted February 21, 2020 Share Posted February 21, 2020 We used the group site at Wilderness State Park before. Wilderness is about 10 miles outside Mackinaw City. The camp site is large and on Lake Michigan. They could put other groups in the site, but we never had a problem. Link to post Share on other sites
