CPAP Machine power

Recommended Posts

My Scout Reservation seems to go wink wink nudge nudge on not permitting Scouters to have lead acid batteries in campsites to power cpap machines

Is there a prohibition on lead acid batteries in unit sites of a scout reservation in the national camp standards?  If yes, can you cite it?

TIA

What! No!

But we do encourage the scouts to make and use a camp gadget when possible.

I couldn't find anything with a Google search.

They're more expensive, but AGM batteries can handle being fully drained better than a traditional lead acid battery.
