mschwartz 10 Posted May 28, 2004 Share Posted May 28, 2004 All of a sudden, every time I come to scouter.com, another window pops up with "Brigade Quartermasters" website. My "usual" popup blocker doesn't stop it. Why is this happening all of a sudden? It is quite annoying. Is this just me, or is this happening to others? M Link to post Share on other sites

That program can be had off the internet for free, BTW. It could be worse. Brigade seems to be a good catalog and website. I havent bought anything from there, but their prices seem pretty fair. I just dont see Terry placing those things on here without letting us know first and going to the extreme to try not doing so. Link to post Share on other sites

I only have minimal popups; will have some when I visit a Yahoo site, but that's about it. Your mileage may vary, of course...... Link to post Share on other sites
EagleInKY 14 Posted May 29, 2004 Share Posted May 29, 2004 It's not scouter.com, it's spyware on your pc. Try ad-aware (http://lavasoft.element5.com) or hijackthis. Both are freeware. Between the two, you can get rid of just about anything that doesn't belong. Link to post Share on other sites
