Though not appropriate for a motivational quote, I still like to recite this mantra in regards to how to handle troublesome issues. 

Since someone opened the pandora/tolkien box.

When in trouble,
When in doubt,
Run in circles,
Scream and shout

Found in various works of Robert A. Heinlein
