packsaddle 753
So, what is the threshold for 'major purchase'? I'll pass it on to the people who still have this policy.
Gone 435
So, what is the threshold for 'major purchase'? I'll pass it on to the people who still have this policy. Depends on the country. The recommendation from the banking industry, State and the travel agent industry is only use a debit card in Europe. Use a CC for everywhere else and always for anything over $100. John-in-KC 311
One technique: ONE physical card. Multiple authorized signatures. The Treasurer keeps the card, but can pass it to the CC, SM, camping coord as needed.
John-in-KC 311
One other note: My banker told me "Want to avoid debit card fees?" Always say credit when swiping a debit card.
TAHAWK 1420
Saying "credit" makes a debit card into a credit card? I never, to my knowledge, had a debit card, so I haven't a clue. Maybe we need a forum closed to youth.
Stosh 3452
One other note: My banker told me "Want to avoid debit card fees?" Always say credit when swiping a debit card. Or just get a credit card and set it up as ACH payment. You get credit rating points for it and yet it operates as a debit card with no debit card fees..
