In my troop the highest level of authority is held by the Pl. They are responsible for their patrol. The SPL is his first level of assistance' date=' not authority. The SPL is the PL to the PL'S. He helps the Pl's be successful with their patrols. He has no say-so over anything within the patrols. Stosh[/quote'] Yep, this is how the SPL and PL Handbooks guide the scouts as well.
