They want to show off their expanded vocabulary. 4. They want to display their tremendous self-control. 5. They want everyone to know they came from a good family. Think about it. dg98adams 18 Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I use another one: Why use a complete sentence to articulate excitement or dissatisfaction about an event or happenstance, when one word (anyone with a 4th grade education) can understand?
