distinctive dress identity or crew selected uniforms

What is the official uniform of the Venturing program, or is there one? What role does the Crew or Ship play in selecting the Crew or Ship's uniforming, or lack of it, for that matter? I know that the Kelly green shirt and gray trousers are the suggested uniforms as far as the BSA is concerned, can crews pretty much select their own

uniforming .

The Kelly Green Uniform with the gray pants are the SUGGESTED uniform. But a crew MAY choose its own uniform. Basically this means the BSA would like you wear the Kelly green uniform. Your crew, or ship makes the final decesion though whether or not they want to be a uniformed crew/ship. It can be decided by a vote.
