shortridge 184 Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Is it a coincidence that people who agree on the same issue would be working to change opinions on that issue at a time when public attitudes on that topic are poised to make a sea change? Or is it more likely, as Mr. Norris suggests, that the president of the United States, in the middle of working to fix the economy, fight a war and win re-election, is also spending his valuable time organizing his friends and allies in a covert campaign pushing to tear down the Boy Scouts? He still supported a states right to make the decision.. He is doing so because he is pro-equal rights, not pro-gay.. Obama has no time or desire to rip apart BSA, in some secret conspiracy, during an election year that promises to be a tight run.. Being labeled Pro-gay is like when non-blacks supported equal rights for blacks.. They were called ni--er lovers. Suffice it to say, that maybe James Turley & Barack Obama may work together on issues and be friends because they share some common beliefs and agree on some issues..
