Calling all Birthers

Recommended Posts

pack,

I watched a NOVA program the other night on green energy. It featured the Chinese company manufacturing all the solar panels being used over there, and talked about how many (100's) new nuclear plants are being built. How many are being built in the US? Zero, zilch, nada. The Chinese are building the new Westinghouse design which is far more advanced and far simpler than what we currently have (70's technology). However, neither of these really address transportation fuel issues, because electric vehicles just aren't a serious solution to the problem.

The show also featured a lab producing an alcohol-type fuel that can go directly into the tank, using hops and special yeast. It works. Cost? 1 teaspoon? $100,000. That's not a typo - cost is $100,000 per teaspoon.

Bottom line - there are no easy or short-term solutions. We should be drilling now and using the most economical solution - oil. Instead we have a president who ties the hands of the producers and says there isn't anything we can do while high fuel costs send us into a double-dip recession. So much for him being a genius.

First, switchgrass is not an agricultural waste material. Corn husks, corn stalks, wheat stalks - these are agricultural waste materials. Switchgrass is a grass native to the prairies and plains of the United States that is now being planted as an agricultural crop for biofuel uses.

Second, $100,000 a teaspoon is a research cost, not a production cost and should not be looked at as some kind of measurement on what the consumer cost of such a fuel will be if it were to hit the market. If gasoline were just now being developed, the research cost might be $100,000 a teaspoon too.

OGE: "is this enough?"

No Sir. That is a computer printout that was generated way after the fact. Any manipulation of the record would have already taken place. Repeating a lie 500 times does not make it the truth.

"What the would-be sleuths won't find is Obama's "long-form birth certificate," a confidential one-page document containing his original birth records kept on file in the first floor of the Department of Health.

Those original birth records typically include additional birth details, such as the hospital and delivering doctor, said Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the state's former health director who twice looked at and publicly confirmed Obama's original long-form birth records.

But those documents are state government property that can't be released to anyone."

Why not?

An avenue of investigation that I'd like to see is for someone else, who was born in the same hospital during the same month as Obama, to try to get a copy of their 'long-form' birth records.

Whether or not they can secure a detailed dcopy of their records would shed true light, one way or the other.

I still think Obama was born in HI but is concealing that he's listed as white or muslim on his long form.

And if he were listed as "white" or "Muslim", what would that have to do with anything? He "is" half white; and religious connection of a newborn has absolutely no connection to an adult over 40, other than to indicate the likely beliefs of his parents.

Enough already!

Gentlemen,

I agree that whatever is on his birth certificate is irrelevant. Being white or muslim might have hurt his election chances before, but certainly can't matter now.

So answer me a simple question:

Why not produce the birth certificate?

Why not publish the transcripts?

What can he be hiding?

And why bother?

JoeBob

The only reason Obama isn't producing his birth certificate is because it's cheap advertising.

The myth has been debunked, and so he gets the benefit of labeling people who disagree with him as crazies.

It's only a matter of time before people who disagree with him on health care reform, etc. are labeled in ways similar to "birther" to make them seem silly instead of actually debating.
