A proud and strong democratic country was starting to become aware of the corruption in goverment and

was wanting to elect a new president and vice president.

They began looking everywhere.. They looked to actors and lawyers to Patriotic Americans and Hockey Mom's.

Well one day.. the Socialists said if you elect me I will be a good president..

The Country said but if we elect you, you'll take all our money and use it in ways that don't represent us.

You make us a socialist country.. Like has happened before. You'll use your power to further weaken our

country and debase the family. You will appoint your radical friends to positions of power in our country.

The Socialists that had some really really bad friends said he would'nt he said he would take care of the

middle class. He promised he would be a good president.

So the people elected him.. and then over time he started making Changes..to the country.

Why did you take away our freedoms, why are you imposing your belief's on an entire country... cried the people

Why are social programs eating away at the things we have worked at for so long thought the country.

The people began to wonder and they asked the president.. Why did you do this to us..

You knew what I was when you elected me.. said the president and he wandered away...

You make some excellent points. I am afraid that Obama-mania in the media has taken hold of people who normally would think for themselves. I don't understand why people vote for someone when they know ahead of time some of the problems he will bring with him. Bill Clinton was a known womanizer, but people voted him in twice! That's why I'm scared that people will overlook Obama's baggage. All I can do is pray that people will vote the way God wants them to.

And who is to say God isn't speaking to a Democrat? I can't for the life of me even imagine a partisan God. In any case, if God does deign to get involved in our personal day to day lives, it seems to me He has many more important things to consider than trying to sway a person's vote.

Indeed gwd, it seems to me that God would just be happy that we get to choose our leaders, when in so many places people do not get a real choice, and throughout history so many people have not gotten to choose. (I'm thinking God might actually lean more toward a parliamentary system than the kind we have, but that's a different theological subject.)

You are right. This is about a socialist or perhaps marxist getting elected. So fairy tale should be changed to nightmare. It has happened in other countries when the public refused to pay attention to warning signs as we have with Ayers, Odinga, Wright, Pfleger, ACORN, the Berg suit, radicalization of students, etc. with Obama. We are facing a nightmare from which we will likely not awake.

The nightmare is presumably reasonable people buying into the bull puckey spewed daily by right wing and neocon radio and television, and the current Republican party leadership and candidates and their lackeys without putting a scintilla of critical thinking and research into the bull puckey they spit right back out. Even moderate Republicans see through the bull puckey.

There's an IT phrase for such puckey: GIGO - Garbage In, Garbage Out. And we've seen enough of this garbage to last 10 lifetimes.

You are obviously resorting to an ad hominem attack as the left typically does when they have no reasonable response. If these issues are so silly, the mainstream media can send 30 attorneys to each issue to critically investigate and release a report that would make everyone feel better. Instead they spread totally unfounded rumors about Todd Palin and his daughter Bristol. If Obama is so guiltless, looking iinto by media entirely on his side should be of no consequence. Otherwise, he remains scary and is not fit to be president.

It's unfortunate that few people realize that GOD wants to be involved in EVERY part of our lives. It's us humans who are often unwilling to allow GOD into every part of our lives. GOD is not too busy for us. We are too busy for Him.

Do you fellow Christians really believe that GOD doesn't care if you vote for someone who supports abortion? You're kidding yourself if you think HE will overlook that. Some of my Democrat friends think that as long as they, personally, are against abortion, then GOD won't mind if they vote for a pro-abortion candidate. They are trying to justify it in their own minds and hearts, but I do see the suffering in their eyes, as they struggle with wanting to vote one way, but knowing that God wouldn't approve.

Remember, our country was founded on a belief in GOD, and the early leaders regularly sought GOD's guidance in governing the country.

Calico, curiosity has the best of me and considering I'm not a cat, that's probably a safe thing. But I have to ask...can you give me an example of 'reasonable' bull puckey? Wouldn't the state of being bull puckey automatically make it unreasonable?

Sorry,....that curiosity thing.;)

"Do you fellow Christians really believe that GOD doesn't care if you vote for someone who supports abortion? You're kidding yourself if you think HE will overlook that."

Not all religions that believe in God share the same fundamental beliefs about these types of issues, and it's outside the government's rights to legislate the beliefs of any particular religious group onto others. All or nothing attitudes, tyranny of the majority, and all that. The term "Judeo-Christian values" is way to broad a term to be able to apply values uniformly to the groups that it implies are included (yes, I know the term wasn't used here, but it needs to be said).

Yah, only socialists I've seen around in recent years have been da neo-con Republicans, eh?

They believe in borrow-and-spend governance (aka "tax our grandchildren but SPEND, BABY, SPEND NOW!").

They believe in socialism for every risk (if the market goes down, "Where's the Fed?" If investment banks that leveraged themselves badly go down "The taxpayer must bail us out!").

Sorry, I'm an old time conservative. Don't have many nice things to say about what this bunch have done to my party.

Even more disgusted by this sort of spreadin' of fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Shows extreme lack of character and honor. Yeh might disagree with John McCain or Barack Obama, but both men are decent chaps and patriotic Americans. Anybody who tries to call a fellow patriotic American a "terrorist" for political advantage has no business bein' in the White House. Far too easy a step from that to findin' ways for the Federal Government to start spyin' on all da rest of us potential "terrorist" citizens, eh?
